This is the Experience Music Project (E.M.P), This building is one of the most beautiful sites of Seattle. Inside is a music expo of all famous artists, and mostly of the ones that originated from Seattle. I didn't know that Jimi Hendrix and Pearl Jam were from Seattle, it was amazing to know how many creative people originated out of this city ( It can really get depressing here because of the climate). I couldn't take pictures from the inside of the building because cameras are not allowed, but the structure overall is impressive, and the museum is unforgetable. You can see the rest of the building in the picture I took of downtown seattle, its right under the space needle,a bit to the left. Check out their site @ www.emplive.com.
Finally I got to the most recommended angle of the Seattle Downtown. The Space Needle isn't between the buildings as it appears on the picture, its way in front of them, thats why I had trouble taking this picture from another spot. This picture was taken on the Queen Anne Hill, and no, you can't go there walking from the downtown, 1) its far (obviously) 2) The car was barely moving up the hill, can you imagine walking. I wish i had a wide angle lens, cuz this was just half of the city, if i waited just a bit longer the orange reflection of the sunset and the lights of the city would have made a beautiful effect. Inshala i get a chance to retake the picture later.
Port of Seattle -- This picture was taken from the Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, I really like the port because to me the colors of the steel containers with the container lifters (the red machines) go against the colors of the enviornment of the area, which makes them stand out in that part of the city.

Lonely Tree -- There was a bunch of trees in the Lake Sammamish Park in Washington, and for some reason this tree was alone in front of the lake, when I put the tree in the middle between me and the sun, it glowed .. and a thought came into my mind... wow !, this needs to go on my blog. I had to stand next to the smelliest garbage i ever stood next to (i still remember, the smell was a mixture of orange juice, meat and i don't know why... cotton candy :S) but the picture was worth the stink :P

The importance of creating a Kuwaiti Professional Photography Association. Okay, it comes to this, We have many people that take photography as a hobby, and like anywhere in the world, we have people that want to take it as a profession. Currently in Kuwait, almost all the photographers that are out in the journalism field are foreigners (please don't take any offense, its reality :P) who don't care about the pictures they take, they just take pictures to satisfy their boss and get their monthly wages. And what about the pictures that are taken on the local soccer field, would you even compare those pictures to the ones on sports illustrated or the ESPN magazine ? We need to address this issue, because Kuwait needs to open up that the field of photography to Kuwaitis. And im sure that even though they open the field of photography to kuwaitis, these poor kuwaitis are going to be sacrificing their interests over career. So, if we had a Kuwait Professional Photography Association, this association can offer incentives other than salaries that can benefit those Kuwaitis. But not everyone would be a member of this association, it will only be the best of the best photographers, not those who do it just for a salary, but those who studied photography at qualified institutes, those who worked overseas as professional photographers. When the amount of members increase then as an association, pictures taken will stand out between the pictures taken by the local journalists. Imagine pictures of a Qadsia game moment, that looks like an a Juventus game moment in an Italian sports magazine. Imagine pictures of Kuwaiti deserts, that look like the Grand Canyons desert in a National Geographic magazine. Finally imagine the pictures of influencial arab people and leaders taken as if they were on the cover of time magazine. I would really like this to happen.....
